These links may earn Yodo a commission and help fund clean water.
Nothing competes for your attention. Light, dark or with photos that change every day, and only the panels you actually use.
“I’m very happy with Yodo. It’s an extension with a wonderful initiative, and the dashboard is also very easy and pleasant to use. I use it every day to work, organise my tasks and set timers, and it really helps me be more productive. Highly recommended!”
Translated“Amazing extension! I am always looking for sustainable options, a friend of mine recommended Yodo as it gives you the transparency and sustainable goals that I didn't know I was looking for. The layout I like as it is not only useful for the links but also for the tasks I have every day.”
“I downloaded Yodo for the initiative and the positive impact you can contribute to effortlessly, but what surprised me most was how helpful it is for organising my tasks, the timers and its gorgeous design. Highly recommended!”
Translated“Yodo is an excellent extension. Your Chrome looks better, it shows motivational messages and, best of all, you bring water to people with limited access to something many of us take for granted. In just over two weeks of using it, I’ve already donated 107 litres.”
Translated“What an amazing extension! I was looking for an alternative to Momentum and found something much better. Every time I open a new tab, I donate water, and it also helps me organise my day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”
Translated“An epic extension. It has lots of widgets that help me every day, such as timers and to-do lists. I plan to use it for a long time. 10/10.”

Add to Chrome, it's freeYodo gives the page you see whenever you open a tab a fresh start. Instead of an empty screen, you get your tasks, favourite websites, search, weather and clock, with a background you love.
And while you go about your day, you join a community that helps fund clean water. There's no new app to learn: it's all right there in your new tab.
Yes, completely free for you. Download it and use all its tools without paying, adding a card or subscribing. Tasks, backgrounds, links, timers… Everything is included from day one.
No. You don't need an account, an email or to tell us who you are. Install Yodo, open a tab and you're ready. You already have enough accounts without needing another one.
Your tasks, links and preferences are saved on your computer, in your browser. You don't need to send them to us or put your name on them. It's your space, organised your way.
Sometimes the hard part is remembering where you left off. With Yodo, opening a tab brings your to-dos and tools within reach, so you can get back to what you were doing without searching for everything again.
Start with three tasks for today, a couple of websites you use often and a background you like. Then make the space your own, without changing the way you work overnight.
Write down your to-dos, create lists and decide what to do today, tomorrow or later. If something feels too big, break it into smaller steps with subtasks. You can also add a date, time and priority.
Each time you finish something, the progress bar moves forward. Try creating “Set up my Yodo” and adding choose a background, save my websites and plan the week. Ticking things off feels good, too.
Your everyday websites, a click away. Save your email, documents, work tools, AI assistants or the Yodo website. Name them however you like and group them in a way that works for you.
Already have quite a few links? Type what you're looking for into the panel's search box and find it in a moment. Spend less time wondering where something was and more time doing what you meant to do.
Yes, quite a lot. Choose photos by great photographers or upload your own, just like changing your phone's wallpaper. If photos distract you, light and dark minimalist backgrounds keep things simple.
You can also change or hide the clock, quote and panels. A landscape you love or just the essentials: what matters is making it feel right for you.
Yes. You have a timer, stopwatch, alarms and the time in different cities. Set aside time for a task, measure how long something takes or check the time where someone far away lives.
For example, set a timer, focus on what's in front of you and leave a few minutes for a break afterwards. It's all included, just like the rest of Yodo's tools.
You don't need to allow access to your exact location. If you don't, Yodo can try to find your area from your Internet connection, using your IP address. It's an estimate: it might find your city or somewhere nearby, but it doesn't pinpoint your exact address.
Prefer to choose yourself? Search for any city or place in the weather panel and change it whenever you like. Check the weather at home, at your next destination or anywhere else without granting that permission.
No. Your usual search engine stays the same. In Yodo, you can use it or choose another available option without changing your Chrome settings.
Your search engine receives your query so it can give you results. If you enable suggestions, it may also receive what you type. Yodo doesn't send your search queries to its usage statistics.
Through the brands that support us, sponsorships, advertising and some links that may earn Yodo a commission. That income helps keep the project running and fund clean water. It's how we can offer Yodo for free.
The water panel has a counter that uses 0.1 litres per tab to show what you're adding. Your contribution joins everyone else's: small actions that, together, help the project move forward.
Open the water panel in your new tab. You can see your running total, compare different days and follow your daily goal. Charts and milestones make it easy to see without doing the maths.
The lovely part is that you're not alone: each person's contribution is part of something shared. The counter lets you follow that progress and keep Yodo's purpose in mind as you go about your day.
We want you to feel comfortable using Yodo. You don't need to register or share your email, and your tasks, links and most settings are saved in your browser. We don't sell your browsing history or use it to choose ads based on the websites you visit.
If usage measurement is enabled, we may receive information about how Yodo is used, linked to a random code rather than your name or email. You can turn it off in settings. Weather and searches also contact other services; we explain this in our privacy policy, so you can make an informed choice.
Yes, you can view the tasks and links already saved in your browser. If you lose your connection, your to-do list is still there to help you plan what you want to do.
You'll need Internet access to open a website, search or update the weather. You also need it to load photos or content that isn't already available in your browser.
Whenever you want. Open Chrome's menu, go to Extensions and then Manage extensions. From there, you can turn Yodo off or remove it. You decide if and when you use it.
