Your extension workspace
Tasks, links and settings are stored in your browser without an account. Uninstalling the extension may remove this local data. This does not mean every feature keeps all information on your computer.
Optional measurement
Optional measurement may include random installation and session identifiers, usage counts, country and time zone. It does not need your task content or search queries. You can turn it off in settings. Yodo does not sell your browsing history.
AdsOnBread advertising
AdsOnBread may show contextual ads and process a random token that expires after 24 hours and is replaced on the next use, approximate country, impressions and clicks. This provider is based in the United States. International transfers may occur; see https://adsonbread.com/privacy and contact us about applicable safeguards.
Weather and location
Weather uses Open-Meteo, ipapi and Nominatim for forecasts, approximate location and place searches. You can choose a city manually. Precise location requires browser permission; without it, an IP-based estimate may be used.
Photos and searches
Unsplash photos require requests to that service. Searches and, when enabled, suggestions are sent to your chosen provider: Google, Bing or DuckDuckGo. Each provider has its own policy.
Affiliate links
Opening an offer or affiliate link may share the referring address or domain and referral information needed to attribute a commission. Purchases and provider tracking are governed by the provider’s terms and policies.
Your rights
Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and portability, or withdraw consent using this page’s contact option. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Chrome and limited use
Yodo is independent of Google and distributed through Chrome Web Store. Data obtained through Chrome APIs is used for the described features under applicable limited-use rules. Your browsing is not used to build behavioural advertising.
Purposes and legal bases
We process the data needed to provide the features you request. Service security and replies to enquiries rely, where applicable, on our legitimate interests. Optional measurement and precise location rely on consent where required. Browser permission alone does not satisfy every data protection obligation.
Retention
Local data remains until you delete it or remove the extension. Usage events follow the relevant service policy; we do not state an unverified fixed period. Correspondence is kept as needed to address it and meet obligations or handle claims. Each provider sets retention periods in its own policy.
Support services and diagnostics
Supabase may support configuration, operational content, optional measurement and error reporting. Diagnostics may include technical data without needing the full content of your tasks. Hosting location and safeguards for possible transfers depend on the contracted service; contact us for details.
